Blood Angels: 1000 Point Assault Force

Six-Deucer and I have agreed to square off in two weeks for our first 40K battle. We agreed to a reduced point total of 1,000 points, in order to acclimate ourselves to the flow of the game.

GW Price Increase 05/31/10

Beware! the sky is falling, Brothers~ Twice!!

I communicate with quite a few online vendors that specialize in 40k,

and it would seem that Games Workshop is completely out of stock of
multiple kits.
A week ago I was not overly concerned by this news however, after GW
announced a price increase on most of their product that will take effect at the
beginning of June in Europe (May 31st state-side)- I was slightly
agitated.

It would seem that certain kits (the Blood Angels Death Company for
example), are completely out of stock for retailers-

Here is my first Blood Angels (BA) list based on a 2,000 point force. I’m also working on a 1850, 1750, and 1500 point army as well. I’m going troop heavy, but may swap an assault squad for a Baal Pred. based on troop survivability as a whole. I’ve read other players classify the fifth edition (5E) as a finesse army- so I want to give myself a little room for mistakes.

Blood Angels 5E First Thoughts...

Having the opportunity to skim through the Blood Angels codex, fifth edition (5E), there were a few changes that surprised me (and some that weren’t so shocking).

New Blood Angels Codex Arrived!

April Fools!

I admit I was shocked when I checked the mail today, only to be rewarded with my pre-ordered Blood Angels codex! Seeing that the official release is slated for April 3rd (and a Games Workshop CSR informed me I wouldn't receive my codex until Monday or Tuesday)- I'm stoked! This is my first look at the new codex and I'll post my thoughts on the addition and changes separating this codex from the old .pdf version.
